Job Description
Wild Horizons is seeking a talented and passionate Motion Graphics Animator to join our in-house marketing and creative team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality motion graphics and visual effects for a variety of digital platforms. Your work will play a crucial part in bringing our brand stories to life, promoting our diverse range of tourism products – from exhilarating adventure activities to serene luxury lodge experiences – and engaging our global audience. You will collaborate closely with our marketing strategists, videographers, and content creators to translate marketing objectives into compelling visual narratives. You will be instrumental in enhancing our digital presence, creating engaging social media content, website animations, promotional videos, and internal communication materials. Key Responsibilities
- Design and create compelling motion graphics, animated videos, and visual effects for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and video production teams to understand project requirements and translate concepts into visually engaging animations.
- Develop storyboards, style frames, and mood boards to effectively communicate animation concepts.
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all animated content.
- Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in motion graphics, animation, and visual storytelling.
- Provide creative input and innovative solutions to enhance the visual impact of our marketing materials.
- Archive and organize project files and assets efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and storytelling.
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing a range of motion graphics and animation projects.
- Excellent visual design skills, including typography, color theory, and composition.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Animation, Film Production, or a related field.
- Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender).
- Familiarity with video editing and sound design principles.
- Experience working within the tourism or hospitality industry.
- Ability to adapt creative styles to different brand narratives and target audiences.
- Experience with creating content for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube).
