As a Motorcycle Courier Assistant, you will be the face of Career.zycto, responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of various packages and documents to our valued clients across Matola. This role requires excellent navigation skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a friendly, professional demeanor. You’ll be provided with a company motorcycle (if you don’t have your own suitable one), safety gear, and all necessary tools to perform your duties effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, documents, and other items to designated locations within Matola and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations at all times.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery manifests and ensure all items are accounted for.
- Collect payments and obtain signatures upon delivery when required.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, dispatchers, and team members.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company values.
- Learn and adapt to new delivery routes and procedures as needed.
Required Skills
- Valid Mozambican motorcycle driving license (Carta de Condução de Motociclos).
- Ability to operate a motorcycle safely and confidently.
- Basic knowledge of Matola's road network and ability to use GPS/navigation tools.
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness to handle packages and be on the road for extended periods.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to service excellence.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Fluency in Portuguese (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with customer service or public-facing roles.
