Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for network-related issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers.
- Assist with the monitoring of network performance and health, identifying potential issues proactively.
- Perform routine system checks, including backups, updates, and security scans.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps accurately.
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
- Assist in user account management and access control within network systems.
- Contribute to maintaining an organized inventory of IT assets and licenses.
- Learn and apply best practices for network security and data protection.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems; Linux knowledge is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
