Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Node.js applications and APIs.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Implement security and data protection measures, ensuring data integrity and system resilience.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to optimize performance and functionality.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and strategic technical decisions for future product development.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them where appropriate to drive innovation.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer, demonstrating successful project delivery.
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript for robust application development.
- In-depth understanding of Node.js frameworks like Express.js, Koa.js, or NestJS.
- Experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and development, including authentication and authorization.
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git, in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.
