Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using appropriate equipment.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report changes to nursing staff.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and intake/output accurately and promptly.
- Assist with meal setup and feeding, ensuring patients receive adequate nutrition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
