Career.zycto is actively seeking a diligent and reliable Office Runner & Document Delivery Specialist to enhance our team in Umoja, Nairobi. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute timely and secure collection and delivery of documents, mail, packages, and other items to various departments, clients, and external partners.
  • Efficiently manage, organize, and process both incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring accurate logging and appropriate distribution.
  • Provide essential administrative support, including but not limited to photocopying, scanning, precise filing, and data entry.
  • Maintain comprehensive inventory of office supplies, stationery, and other consumables, proactively ensuring adequate stock levels and initiating replenishment requests as needed.
  • Support the meticulous preparation of meeting rooms, ensuring they are consistently tidy, fully equipped, and ready for use.
  • Undertake bank errands, facilitate utility payments, and manage other critical external logistical tasks as required.
  • Ensure the general cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of common office areas at all times.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, with particular emphasis on document security, data privacy, and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Provide general, courteous, and professional support to staff and visitors, maintaining a helpful and approachable demeanor.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, unwavering reliability, and strict punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Good physical condition and capability to carry moderate packages.
  • Familiarity with Umoja and surrounding areas of Nairobi for efficient navigation and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience (even informal) in a similar office support or delivery role.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling confidential documents with utmost discretion and integrity.
  • A valid motorcycle riding license could be an added advantage for faster and more flexible deliveries.
