Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the full cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the HR team in onboarding new employees, preparing new hire documentation, and coordinating orientation sessions.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR information system (HRIS) with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Conduct research on HR best practices, industry trends, and compliance requirements to support policy development and updates.
- Aid in organizing company events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
- Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed, utilizing data analysis skills.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including managing calendars, responding to inquiries, and handling correspondence.
- Contribute to special HR projects aimed at improving efficiency, employee satisfaction, and overall HR service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and initiatives.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous coursework or projects related to Human Resources management.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
