Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Onboarding Specialist to join our thriving team in Fürth. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be the first point of contact for our newest team members, setting the stage for their successful journey within our partner organizations. Your mission will be to design, implement, and refine an exceptional onboarding experience that not only introduces new hires to their roles and our company culture but also makes them feel genuinely welcome and valued from day one. We believe that the initial weeks are crucial for retention and engagement, and you will be at the forefront of this vital effort.

You will play a critical role in shaping the initial perceptions and long-term engagement of our talent. This involves everything from preparing comprehensive welcome kits and coordinating initial training schedules to ensuring all necessary paperwork and system access are in place well before a new employee’s start date. Beyond the administrative tasks, you’ll be a guide, a mentor, and a resource, proactively addressing questions, connecting new hires with key colleagues, and fostering a sense of belonging. You’ll work proactively to identify potential challenges new hires might face and implement solutions to smooth their transition, ensuring they feel supported and empowered to contribute their best from the outset. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Coordinate with HR, IT, and department managers to ensure seamless integration processes.
  • Prepare and distribute welcome packages, essential documents, and access credentials.
  • Conduct engaging orientation sessions, introducing company culture, values, and policies.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for new hires, addressing questions and providing support.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from new hires and managers to continuously improve onboarding initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and internal company policies during the onboarding phase.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
  • Proven organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build rapport.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to support others.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with HR software platforms like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Personio.
  • Knowledge of German labor law principles related to new hire procedures.
  • Project management experience, particularly in program development.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
