Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle phone inquiries.
- Perform preliminary diagnostic tests (e.g., visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry) accurately and efficiently.
- Assist the Optometrist during examinations, documenting patient information as needed.
- Provide contact lens instruction and training to new wearers.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality.
- Manage patient records, insurance verification, and billing support.
- Educate patients on eyewear options, lens technologies, and contact lens care.
