Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle phone inquiries.
  • Perform preliminary diagnostic tests (e.g., visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry) accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist the Optometrist during examinations, documenting patient information as needed.
  • Provide contact lens instruction and training to new wearers.
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality.
  • Manage patient records, insurance verification, and billing support.
  • Educate patients on eyewear options, lens technologies, and contact lens care.
