Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Order Selector to join our rapidly expanding logistics team in Crayke, Easingwold. As an Order Selector, you will play a critical role in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for navigating the warehouse using various equipment, including pallet jacks and possibly forklifts (training provided if necessary), to locate and retrieve items according to picking lists. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately select products from warehouse locations based on picking lists or voice-picking systems.
- Verify product numbers, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Stack and organise products onto pallets or into containers according to established procedures.
- Conduct quality checks on products for damage or discrepancies.
- Wrap and prepare completed orders for shipment, ensuring proper labelling.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and accuracy goals.

- Proven ability to read and interpret picking lists and numerical data accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment.

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- First Aid certification.
