Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, and priming to ensure a smooth, durable finish.
- Apply paint, varnish, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers with precision and efficiency.
- Accurately mix and match paint colors according to specifications or client preferences, ensuring color consistency.
- Estimate material and labor costs for various painting projects, providing clear and concise quotes.
- Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths and tape to prevent paint splatters and damage to non-painted surfaces.
- Thoroughly clean up work areas and equipment after completing each project, maintaining a tidy and safe environment.
