Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods from trucks and trailers.
- Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and manifests for accuracy.
- Organizing and preparing products for shipment, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
- Securing loads using appropriate techniques and equipment to prevent damage during transit.
- Operating manual material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and effectively.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to company safety policies and procedures.
- Performing general warehouse duties as required, including sorting, stacking, and moving inventory.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Reporting any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns promptly to supervision.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in checking documentation and loads.
