LSP Construction is actively seeking a diligent and meticulous Painter to join our dynamic team in Mokhotlong, Mokhotlong District. This is a full-time, on-site position vital to maintaining the aesthetic and structural integrity of our various projects and facilities, ranging from new builds to renovation works. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, and masking.
- Mix and match paint colours, stains, and varnishes to achieve desired shades and textures.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality and ensure even application and adherence to specifications.
- Safely operate and maintain painting equipment and tools.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices on job sites.
- Estimate material quantities and coordinate with project managers for timely procurement.
- Collaborate effectively with other construction workers and tradespeople.
- Clean up work areas and equipment upon completion of tasks.
- Perform minor repairs or touch-ups as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Painter in a construction or renovation setting (minimum 2 years).
- Excellent knowledge of painting material, techniques, and equipment.
- Proficiency in surface preparation, including patching, sanding, and priming.
- Ability to mix and match colours accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Good physical condition and stamina, capable of standing, bending, and lifting.
