Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, and priming.
- Mix and match paint colors according to specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Apply paint, varnish, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding and ladders as required, ensuring safe working practices.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Inspect work for proper application, aesthetic quality, and adherence to project specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with other renovation team members, project managers, and clients.
- Protect adjacent surfaces and fixtures from paint splatters and damage.
- Perform minor repair work on surfaces (e.g., drywall patching) before painting.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines and industry standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional painter, preferably in renovation or construction.
- Excellent knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Proficiency in surface preparation, including patching, sanding, and priming.
- Ability to mix and match paint colors accurately.
