Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Part-Time Parking Lot Attendant to join our welcoming team at Blue Reef Sport & Fishing Lodge in Kikadini, Jambiani. As a Parking Lot Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for many of our arriving guests, playing a crucial role in setting a positive tone for their stay. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee the resort’s parking area, ensuring efficient vehicle flow, maximizing space utilization, and maintaining a safe and orderly environment for all visitors and staff. This vital front-line position demands excellent customer service skills, as you will be responsible for directing guests to available parking spots, assisting with any parking-related inquiries, and providing a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure experience. Beyond vehicle management, you will also be tasked with the general upkeep and cleanliness of the parking lot, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, suspicious activities, or safety concerns to the management. This part-time opportunity offers flexibility and the chance to be an integral part of our resort team, contributing significantly to the seamless operation of our beloved lodge and enhancing our guests’ overall satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with parking directions.
- Efficiently manage the flow of vehicles within the parking lot to maximize space and minimize congestion.
- Monitor the parking area regularly to ensure security, cleanliness, and order.
- Provide information and assistance to guests regarding resort facilities and local attractions as needed.
- Report any parking violations, accidents, or suspicious activities to management immediately.
- Assist with traffic control during peak hours or special events.
- Ensure pedestrian safety by guiding guests and maintaining clear walkways.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as picking up litter and ensuring signage is visible and clear.
