Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for employees on a bi-weekly/monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements (CPF, income tax, etc.).
- Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, changes in pay rates, benefits deductions, and personal information.
- Verify timesheets, attendance records, and leave requests for accurate payroll calculations.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of all necessary payroll-related reports to internal stakeholders and external government agencies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related matters in a professional and timely manner.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Support year-end payroll activities, including the preparation of IR8A forms and other statutory submissions.
- Stay updated with Singapore's employment laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices.
- Assist with ad-hoc HR and Finance administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Workday, QuickBooks Payroll) or similar HRIS systems.
- Strong understanding of Singapore's CPF, income tax, and employment regulations.
- Excellent data entry and numerical accuracy skills.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a part-time payroll role.
- Familiarity with HR practices and employee benefits administration.
