Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly meticulous and dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our robust Human Resources and Finance department. This full-time role, based in our Singapore office, is pivotal to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our diverse workforce, while strictly adhering to local labor laws and company policies. You will play a crucial role in maintaining payroll integrity, managing benefits administration, and contributing to a positive employee experience.

As our Payroll Specialist, you will be the backbone of our compensation system, responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and disbursements. This encompasses handling complex calculations for salaries, bonuses, commissions, statutory contributions (CPF), income tax, and various allowances and deductions. Your expertise will be essential in verifying timesheets, resolving payroll discrepancies, and preparing comprehensive payroll reports for management review. Beyond routine processing, you will be instrumental in staying abreast of changes in Singapore’s employment legislation, tax regulations, and CPF policies, ensuring our payroll practices remain compliant and up-to-date. Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end monthly payroll for all employees accurately and timely, including salaries, bonuses, allowances, and statutory deductions (CPF, income tax).
  • Ensure strict compliance with Singapore's labor laws, CPF regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Verify and reconcile payroll data, including timesheets, attendance records, and leave applications.
  • Manage employee queries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits with professionalism and promptness.
  • Prepare and submit statutory filings (e.g., IR8A, CPF contributions) and ensure timely payments.
  • Generate comprehensive payroll reports for internal auditing, management review, and financial analysis.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including tracking eligibility and managing enrollments/terminations.
  • Assist in year-end payroll activities, including tax finalization and reporting.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role in Singapore.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore's employment laws, CPF contributions, and income tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Info-Tech, SAP, Timesoft) and Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with HRIS systems integration with payroll modules.
  • Certification in Payroll Management (e.g., from SHRI).
  • Familiarity with regional payroll practices (if applicable to future growth).
