Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed reservoir engineering studies, including material balance, decline curve analysis, and reservoir simulation.
- Design and optimize drilling, completion, and workover programs to maximize hydrocarbon recovery.
- Develop and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies, evaluating their technical and economic feasibility.
- Monitor and analyze production performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and troubleshooting operational issues.
- Collaborate with geoscientists to integrate geological models into reservoir simulations and field development plans.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and economic evaluations for management and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure best practices are applied.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, CMG, Petrel RE).
- Strong understanding of fluid flow in porous media, well testing, and production optimization techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to interpret geological, geophysical, and petrophysical data.
