Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of all pharmacy areas, including waiting rooms, consultation areas, restrooms, offices, and storage rooms.
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and emptying trash receptacles.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly, such as door handles, counters, light switches, and public computers.
- Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas (e.g., soap, paper towels, hand sanitizer).
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions or repair needs promptly.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols strictly, especially those relevant to a healthcare environment.
- Ensure compliance with all local and provincial regulations regarding cleaning and waste disposal in a pharmacy setting.
