Are you a detail-oriented Photogrammetrist with a passion for transforming raw spatial data into actionable 3D models? Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our innovative team in Uhlenhorst, Hamburg. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of processing complex geospatial imagery, contributing directly to projects that span urban planning, environmental monitoring, infrastructure development, and digital twin creation. As a Photogrammetrist at Career.zycto, you will be responsible for the entire workflow, from initial data assessment and quality control of incoming aerial or terrestrial imagery to the generation of high-resolution digital terrain models (DTMs), digital surface models (DSMs), orthomosaics, and dense point clouds. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the geometric accuracy and radiometric consistency of all derived products. You’ll work closely with GIS specialists, 3D modelers, and project managers, providing essential spatial intelligence that underpins critical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process aerial, terrestrial, and drone imagery using specialized photogrammetric software.
  • Generate accurate digital terrain models (DTMs), digital surface models (DSMs), orthophotos, and point clouds.
  • Perform rigorous quality control checks on all derived geospatial products to ensure precision and compliance with project specifications.
  • Utilize and manage various photogrammetric and GIS software packages effectively.
  • Collaborate with GIS specialists, 3D artists, and project managers to integrate photogrammetric data into broader projects.
  • Conduct spatial analysis and data interpretation to extract meaningful insights from 3D models.
  • Stay current with advancements in photogrammetry, remote sensing, and 3D modeling technologies and methodologies.
  • Manage project data, ensuring proper organization, archiving, and accessibility.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of internal photogrammetric processing workflows.

Required Skills

  • Proven proficiency in photogrammetric software such as Agisoft Metashape, Pix4Dmapper, RealityCapture, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of geospatial data, coordinate systems, and projections.
  • Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) for data visualization and analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate results.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data processing issues.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Geodesy, Geomatics, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, or a related field.
  • Experience with LiDAR data processing and integration with photogrammetric workflows.
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python) for automation.
  • Prior experience in a consulting or project-based environment.
  • Knowledge of German language skills (B2 level or higher).
