Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in comprehensive, structured training programs to learn piano technology.
  • Develop and refine skills in piano tuning (aural and electronic methods), regulation, and voicing under expert guidance.
  • Learn to diagnose and perform repairs on piano actions, keys, pedals, and other mechanical components.
  • Assist experienced technicians with instrument assessments, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
  • Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of pianos, ensuring their optimal condition.
  • Accurately document all work performed, parts used, and instrument specifications.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and best practices for handling delicate instruments and tools.
  • Develop professional communication skills to interact with clients regarding instrument care and service (post-training).
