Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plastic processing machinery (e.g., injection molding, extrusion, blow molding) according to production schedules and specifications.
- Perform routine machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
- Conduct quality inspections of plastic components, identifying and rectifying defects to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor raw material levels and ensure timely replenishment, assisting with material handling and inventory management.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
- Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, output quantities, and quality control data.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to continuously improve production processes and resolve operational issues.
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment to ensure a safe and organized factory environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience operating plastic manufacturing machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and production orders.
