Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting various crops.
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep of farm buildings, fences, and grounds to ensure operational efficiency.
- Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and equipment under supervision, such as tillers, mowers, and irrigation pumps.
- Participate in animal care duties including feeding, watering, and cleaning enclosures, strictly adhering to animal welfare guidelines (if applicable to the specific farm site).
- Monitor crop health, identify potential issues like pests or diseases, and promptly report findings to supervisors.
- Ensure strict compliance with all workplace safety regulations and operational protocols on the farm.
- Assist with irrigation systems and other water management tasks to ensure optimal crop hydration.
- Prepare harvested produce for market, which includes washing, sorting, grading, and packing.
- Execute manual labour tasks such as digging, weeding, pruning, and heavy lifting as required.
