Career.zycto is seeking a dynamic and charismatic Radio DJ to join our broadcast team in Slateford, Edinburgh, on a flexible schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Host engaging live and pre-recorded radio shows with a unique and compelling on-air personality.
- Curate and manage diverse music playlists appropriate for target audiences and broadcast themes.
- Develop and deliver compelling show content, including news, interviews, listener call-ins, and promotional spots.
- Interact with listeners via phone, social media, and in-person at events, fostering community engagement.
- Operate broadcast consoles and related technical equipment to ensure high-quality audio output.
- Conduct thorough research for show topics, guest interviews, and current events relevant to the audience.
- Collaborate with the programming team on show development, station promotions, and overall content strategy.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to broadcast standards and regulations.
- Actively participate in station-sponsored events and community outreach initiatives.
- Contribute to the station's digital presence by creating engaging content for social media and online platforms.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional broadcasting experience as a Radio DJ or similar role.
