Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative measures on plumbing infrastructure.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues, ensuring compliance with local plumbing codes and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment common to the plumbing trade, including pipe cutters, wrenches, and soldering equipment.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, explaining issues, proposed solutions, and estimated costs clearly.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and time spent on each job, utilizing our digital tracking systems.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Plumber, with a minimum of 4 years in a professional capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools, including water supply, drainage, and waste systems.
- Thorough understanding of local and national plumbing codes and regulations specific to California.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications accurately.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex plumbing issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid California Plumber's license in good standing.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform duties requiring manual dexterity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman Plumber certification or equivalent.
- Experience with advanced plumbing technologies such as tankless water heaters, PEX piping, or smart home plumbing systems.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- Previous commercial plumbing experience, including large-scale installations or maintenance.
- Backflow prevention device certification.
