We are seeking a highly skilled and responsive Plumber On Call Technician to join our client’s dedicated team serving Kwale County, Kenya. Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency plumbing calls across Kwale County, Kenya, outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues accurately, including leaks, clogs, pipe damage, fixture malfunctions, and water heater problems.
- Perform skilled repairs and installations on various plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances, adhering to industry standards and local building codes.
- Utilize a range of tools and equipment effectively and safely to complete tasks such as pipe cutting, threading, welding, and soldering.
- Provide clear, concise, and professional communication to clients regarding diagnoses, proposed solutions, costs, and expected timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and hours worked.
- Ensure all work sites are left clean and tidy upon completion of service.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment efficiently, ensuring they are well-maintained and ready for immediate deployment.
- Offer preventative maintenance advice to clients to minimize future plumbing issues.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Plumber or Plumber On Call Technician.
- Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in all aspects of plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent physical stamina and dexterity.
- Valid Kenyan driving license with a clean driving record.
