Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas to deter criminal activity, enforce traffic laws, and maintain public order.
- Respond to emergency calls, critical incidents, and non-emergency service requests promptly and professionally.
- Conduct thorough investigations of crimes, gather evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Apprehend suspects, execute warrants, and provide testimony in court when required.
- Engage with community members, participate in outreach programs, and build positive relationships to foster trust and cooperation.
- Administer first aid and provide emergency assistance to victims and those in distress.
- Manage conflict situations, mediate disputes, and de-escalate volatile encounters effectively.
- Enforce provincial statutes, federal laws, and municipal by-laws with fairness and impartiality.
- Maintain physical fitness and proficiency in the use of police equipment and tactics.
Required Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English

- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License (or equivalent)
- Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status
- No criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted

- Prior experience in a related field (e.g., security, military, social work)
