Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in and successfully complete all aspects of the police training program, including academic coursework, physical conditioning, and practical simulations.
- Adhere strictly to all departmental policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines during training and subsequent service.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of German criminal law, public order regulations, and traffic laws.
- Master tactical skills, self-defense techniques, and the use of police equipment.
- Cultivate effective communication and de-escalation skills for interacting with the public in diverse situations.
- Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic at all times.
- Engage actively in team-building exercises and collaborative learning environments.
- Prepare diligently for and successfully pass all required examinations and assessments during the training period.
Required Skills
- German citizenship or EU citizenship with valid work permit
- Minimum age 17 (at time of application) and maximum age 30 (at time of recruitment for training)
- Successful completion of secondary education (Mittlere Reife or Abitur) or equivalent vocational qualification
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to pass demanding physical aptitude tests
- Strong moral character and high degree of integrity
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in challenging situations
- Proficiency in German language (C1 level minimum) for official communication and report writing
- Valid driving license (Class B) or willingness to obtain one during training
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in public service or volunteer work
- Proficiency in additional languages
- Demonstrated leadership potential or team sports participation
- Experience with disciplined environments (e.g., military service, competitive sports)
