Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure company policies remain current and compliant.
  • Assist in the development, review, and revision of internal policies, procedures, and guidelines to reflect regulatory changes and best practices.
  • Monitor policy implementation across various departments, identifying potential gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports on compliance findings, policy updates, and risk assessments for management review.
  • Support internal and external audits by gathering necessary documentation and providing accurate information.
  • Assist in developing and delivering compliance training materials to educate employees on relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain meticulous records of compliance activities, policy documents, and regulatory correspondence.
  • Collaborate with legal, operations, and other teams to address compliance-related inquiries and ensure cross-functional alignment.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for policy drafting and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G-Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (1-2 years) in a compliance, regulatory, or policy-related role.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCEP-I, CRCM) are an asset.
