Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all aspects of the comprehensive Power Line Technician training program.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Assist experienced technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical power lines and cables.
- Operate and maintain a variety of specialized tools, vehicles, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic tasks such as digging trenches, climbing poles, and handling materials under supervision.
- Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical system faults and failures.
- Respond to emergency call-outs for power outages and system repairs as part of a team.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment inspections.
- Work effectively as a member of a crew, communicating clearly and collaborating on tasks.
- Continuously develop knowledge of electrical theory, system components, and operational best practices.
