Job Description
We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a thriving educational environment in Gloucester, England, on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an immediate hiring opportunity for an individual passionate about nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across key stages of the primary curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess, monitor, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and pupil behaviour in line with school policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
- Participate in staff meetings, INSET days, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community, including extracurricular activities.
Required Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with specific pedagogical approaches (e.g., phonics programs, mastery learning).
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to primary education.
- Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) support and inclusion strategies.
