Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training programs to master printing processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Learn to set up, operate, and maintain various printing presses (e.g., digital, offset) under the direct supervision of experienced operators.
- Monitor print quality throughout production runs, identifying and addressing any imperfections or inconsistencies to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with loading and unloading paper, ink, and other consumable materials into printing machines efficiently and safely.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines and operational procedures to maintain a secure and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, including other printers, designers, and finishing staff, to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Assist with post-press finishing processes such as cutting, binding, laminating, and packaging of printed materials as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong eagerness and demonstrated ability to learn new technical skills quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and fundamental problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Familiarity with basic computer operations and software.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or fast-paced hands-on environment is a plus (not necessarily printing).
