Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and discreet investigations, including surveillance, background checks, and fact-finding missions.
  • Gather, analyze, and verify evidence from various sources, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Prepare detailed, accurate, and comprehensive investigative reports and summaries.
  • Utilize modern investigative tools, techniques, and technologies to achieve case objectives.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all case information and client privacy.
  • Collaborate with legal teams, law enforcement, or other experts as required, providing expert testimony if necessary.
  • Manage case files and documentation meticulously, ensuring proper record-keeping.

  • Adhere to all local, provincial, and federal laws pertaining to private investigation.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as a Private Investigator or in a related investigative field.
  • Valid Private Investigator license in Alberta (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Exceptional observation, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in surveillance techniques and equipment.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
