Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of probationers, ensuring compliance with court orders and supervision plans.
  • Conduct regular supervision contacts, including office visits, home visits, and field checks to monitor progress.
  • Perform risk and needs assessments to identify appropriate interventions and support services.
  • Connect probationers with vital community resources such as employment assistance, educational programs, mental health services, and substance abuse treatment.
  • Monitor and enforce conditions of probation, which may include administering drug and alcohol tests.
  • Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely reports for the courts regarding probationer progress, compliance, and violations.
  • Collaborate effectively with law enforcement agencies, attorneys, social service providers, and other community stakeholders.
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential case records and documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Respond to probationer crises and emergencies in a professional and appropriate manner.
  • Testify in court proceedings when required, providing factual and objective information.
