Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize industrial processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Conduct process simulations, data analysis, and feasibility studies to support decision-making and project implementation.
- Troubleshoot process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and maintenance teams to integrate new processes and improve existing ones.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, operating procedures, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Process Engineer in an industrial setting.
- Proven experience with process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Hysys, PRO/II).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with advanced process control systems (APC).
- Proficiency in German (written and spoken).
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
- Experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or automotive industries.
