Key Responsibilities

- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure alignment between material specifications and supplier capabilities.
- Conduct thorough market research and spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and resolve any supply chain issues promptly and effectively.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including obsolescence, geopolitical instability, and quality non-conformance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost savings to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, leveraging best practices and technological solutions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering-driven industry.
- Proven experience with contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
