Key Responsibilities
- Analyze historical spend data, market trends, and supplier pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated pricing models, cost benchmarks, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses.
- Provide robust analytical support for procurement negotiations, including preparing negotiation strategies and scenarios.
- Monitor and report on key pricing metrics, supplier performance, and market fluctuations.
- Collaborate with category managers, finance, and operational teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and contracts to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to terms.
- Identify and implement process improvements related to pricing analysis and procurement data management.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, outlining findings, recommendations, and achieved savings.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, market dynamics, and technological advancements in procurement and pricing.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst, Pricing Analyst, or similar role (3+ years).
