Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and other production gear on various shoot locations.
  • Provide essential on-set support, including scene preparation, prop management, talent coordination, and general logistical assistance.
  • Run errands as needed to acquire supplies, equipment, or other materials crucial for production.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on set and within the studio.
  • Support camera operators, sound engineers, and directors by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
  • Shadow and learn from experienced team members, actively participating in the production process.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as organizing call sheets, managing shot lists, or logging footage.
  • Ensure all necessary releases, permits, and documentation are in order for shoots.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere, fostering effective communication.
  • Adhere strictly to production schedules and deadlines, helping to keep projects on track.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic familiarity with video production equipment or software (e.g., cameras, editing suites).
  • Prior experience in a collaborative, fast-paced setting (volunteer work, school projects, or non-production jobs are relevant).
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • A general understanding of the Historic District, Lewes area and surrounding locations.
  • Enrollment in or completion of relevant coursework in film, media arts, communications, or broadcasting is a plus, but not required.
