Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Campaign Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Shaughnessy, Vancouver. As a Public Relations Campaign Coordinator, you will be instrumental in supporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of integrated PR campaigns across a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work closely with senior PR managers and clients to ensure campaign objectives are met, key messages are effectively disseminated, and brand visibility is maximized. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive public relations campaigns for various clients.
  • Draft and edit compelling press releases, media alerts, pitches, backgrounders, Q&As, and other communication materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough media monitoring and analysis to track campaign performance and identify emerging trends.
  • Coordinate logistics for media events, press conferences, product launches, and other PR activities.
  • Support social media content creation and community management in alignment with PR campaign goals.
  • Prepare client reports, presentations, and analyses summarizing campaign results and insights.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and target audiences to inform PR strategies.
  • Manage and update media lists, databases, and press kits.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, digital, and creative teams to ensure integrated campaign efforts.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 2.5 years) in public relations, communications, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to write compelling and error-free press releases, pitches, and other PR collateral.
  • Strong understanding of media relations and proven ability to cultivate media contacts.
  • Proficiency in media monitoring and reporting tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater, Agility PR Solutions).
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced agency environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within a PR agency setting.
  • Familiarity with digital PR strategies, SEO principles, and content marketing.
  • Experience with social media management platforms and analytics tools.
  • A portfolio showcasing successful PR campaigns or written communication samples.
  • Knowledge of the Vancouver media landscape and local market trends.
