Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive public relations campaigns for various clients.
- Draft and edit compelling press releases, media alerts, pitches, backgrounders, Q&As, and other communication materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough media monitoring and analysis to track campaign performance and identify emerging trends.
- Coordinate logistics for media events, press conferences, product launches, and other PR activities.
- Support social media content creation and community management in alignment with PR campaign goals.
- Prepare client reports, presentations, and analyses summarizing campaign results and insights.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and target audiences to inform PR strategies.
- Manage and update media lists, databases, and press kits.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, digital, and creative teams to ensure integrated campaign efforts.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2.5 years) in public relations, communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to write compelling and error-free press releases, pitches, and other PR collateral.
- Strong understanding of media relations and proven ability to cultivate media contacts.
- Proficiency in media monitoring and reporting tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater, Agility PR Solutions).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced agency environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a PR agency setting.
