Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality checks on incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established protocols and specifications.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and analyses using various equipment, accurately recording and reporting results in a timely manner.
- Monitor production lines to ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and hygiene standards.
- Identify and document non-conforming products or processes, escalating issues to senior technicians or supervisors for immediate resolution.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated, cleaned, and functioning optimally.
- Assist in the calibration and preventive maintenance of quality control equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate actively in training sessions, learning new quality assurance techniques, procedures, and regulatory updates.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control processes and product integrity through observation and feedback.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic mathematical skills for calculations, measurements, and data analysis.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to articulate findings and observations clearly.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some vocational training or coursework in food technology, chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field.
- Previous experience (even non-paid, volunteer, or internship) in a manufacturing, production, or laboratory environment.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP principles, or other food safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.
