Key Responsibilities
- Develop and conceptualize engaging radio programs, segments, and features from ideation to broadcast.
- Research and select compelling topics, stories, and interview subjects relevant to our target audience.
- Write, edit, and proofread scripts, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to broadcast standards.
- Direct presenters, voice artists, and guests during live broadcasts and recording sessions.
- Operate studio equipment, mixing consoles, and audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools).
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring all production milestones are met efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with content creators, marketing teams, and sound engineers to achieve cohesive results.
- Source, license, and integrate appropriate music, sound effects, and jingles.
- Conduct pre-production research, including fact-checking and guest briefing.
- Monitor broadcast quality and troubleshoot technical issues during live or recorded shows.
- Analyze listener feedback and ratings to continually improve program content and appeal.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Radio Producer or similar role.
- Exceptional storytelling and narrative development abilities.
- Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Audacity).
- Strong understanding of radio broadcasting techniques and studio operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
