Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable front-end applications using React.js and related technologies.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate visual designs and wireframes into high-quality user interfaces.
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with API services.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, proposing and implementing improvements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Strong experience with React.js, including hooks, context API, or Redux for state management
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in an agile, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with TypeScript
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
- Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Gatsby)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
