Vodacom Moçambique is seeking a motivated Part-Time Recruitment Assistant to join our dynamic HR team in Nguunhane, Chibuto. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the intricacies of talent acquisition within a fast-paced telecommunications environment. As a Recruitment Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our recruiters and hiring managers throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle. You will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the posting of job advertisements on various job boards and career platforms.
  • Screen incoming resumes and applications, identifying candidates who meet initial qualifications.
  • Schedule interviews for candidates with hiring managers and recruiters, managing calendars effectively.
  • Coordinate pre-employment assessments and background checks as required.
  • Maintain and update candidate databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS) with accurate information.
  • Communicate professionally with candidates regarding their application status and interview logistics.
  • Prepare offer letters and assist with new hire onboarding documentation.
  • Support HR team with various administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous administrative or office support experience (e.g., internship, part-time role).
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
  • An understanding of basic HR principles or a keen interest in recruitment.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration.
