Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Fremont, California. As an integral member of our patient care unit, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, accurately and safely.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and medical information of patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
  • Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort at all times.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
  • Demonstrated strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Experience in specialized units such as Med-Surg, ICU, or ER.
  • Certification in a nursing specialty (e.g., CCRN, CEN).
