Key Responsibilities

  • Assist members of the public with inquiries regarding births, deaths, marriages, civil partnerships, and other registrable events.
  • Schedule and manage appointments for various registration services, ensuring efficient time management.
  • Accurately process and record registration details into secure digital and physical systems.
  • Issue certificates and certified copies of entries, verifying applicant eligibility and maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Handle incoming correspondence, phone calls, and emails, responding professionally and empathetically.
  • Provide administrative support to the registrars and senior staff, including filing, data entry, and report generation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the public reception area and office space.
  • Adhere strictly to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures regarding data protection and public records.
  • Handle cash and card payments for services rendered, ensuring accurate reconciliation.

Required Skills
