Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote CRM Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a crucial role designed for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and is passionate about optimizing customer relationship management systems to drive business success.
As our Remote CRM Specialist, you will be instrumental in the effective management, optimization, and daily operation of our CRM platform, primarily Salesforce. You will serve as the primary administrator and go-to expert for all CRM-related inquiries, ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and user adoption across our sales, marketing, and customer success departments. Your work will directly support our strategic growth initiatives by ensuring our teams have the tools and data necessary to build and maintain strong relationships with our partners and clients.
You will be responsible for configuring and customizing the CRM to meet evolving business needs, developing comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights, and ensuring our data remains clean, accurate, and up-to-date. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system improvements, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. You will also be responsible for creating and delivering training programs to new and existing users, empowering them to leverage the CRM to its fullest potential. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain our CRM platform (primarily Salesforce), including user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and data security.
- Ensure data integrity, cleanliness, and consistency within the CRM system through regular auditing and maintenance.
- Develop, configure, and customize CRM functionalities (e.g., custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules) to meet evolving business requirements.
- Create and manage complex reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights into sales, marketing, and customer success performance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CRM users, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and documentation for new and existing CRM users.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective CRM solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the CRM to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CRM features, releases, and best practices, evaluating their potential application within AbSci.
- Assist in the integration of CRM with other business systems and tools.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a CRM Administrator or Specialist, preferably with Salesforce.
- Strong proficiency in CRM administration, configuration, and customization.
- Excellent understanding of sales, marketing, and customer service processes and how CRM supports them.
- Proven ability to ensure data integrity and manage large datasets.
- Experience creating detailed reports and dashboards for various stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201).
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot) integrated with CRM.
- Prior experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
- Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, or other CRM development tools.
