The British Council is seeking a dynamic Remote Education Program Coordinator to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of assigned remote educational programs, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless program execution and alignment with overall objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including schedules, reports, risk logs, and resource plans.
- Facilitate virtual meetings, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring effective engagement and clear communication among participants.
- Manage online learning platforms and tools, providing technical support and guidance to participants as needed.
- Monitor program progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement proactive solutions to keep programs on track.
- Support the development and curation of engaging online educational content and resources.
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support of remote educators, facilitators, and volunteers.
- Gather and analyse program feedback and data to contribute to continuous improvement cycles.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting achievements and challenges.
- Ensure compliance with all British Council policies and procedures, including safeguarding and data protection.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in program coordination or project management, ideally within the education, non-profit, or international development sectors.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, suitable for diverse international audiences.
- Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Workspace) and project management software.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a distributed team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Experience with online learning platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard) and content management systems.
- Understanding of the principles of effective remote learning and engagement.
- A bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, Project Management, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience working with international stakeholders and across different cultural contexts.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies within an educational context.
- Proficiency in an additional language.
