Job Description

This pivotal role at Career.zycto supports the overall employee experience strategy, ensuring a positive, productive, and engaging environment for our distributed team members. As a Remote Employee Experience Assistant, you will be instrumental in fostering a strong sense of community and belonging across geographical boundaries, directly contributing to our unique culture of collaboration and mutual support. You’ll work closely with our HR and People Operations teams to ideate, plan, and execute initiatives that significantly enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention, all while enjoying the flexibility of working from your dedicated home base in Granville, Prescott Valley. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of virtual employee engagement events, workshops, and recognition programs.
  • Manage internal communication channels (e.g., Slack, intranet) to share company news, updates, and employee spotlights effectively.
  • Support new hire onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless, welcoming, and comprehensive virtual experience from pre-boarding to full integration.
  • Gather and analyze employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, and informal channels to proactively identify areas for improvement in employee satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update employee experience resources and documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all team members.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the People Operations team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing sensitive data.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding company culture, benefits resources, and general HR-related questions, escalating when necessary with professionalism.
  • Contribute to the creation of engaging content for internal newsletters, company announcements, and internal social media platforms to foster connection.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to tailor messages for a diverse remote audience.
  • Proficiency in virtual communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a genuine desire to support and empower remote employees.

  • Experience in virtual event planning, coordination, or online community management.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., aPHR, SHRM-CP) or a related professional development certification.
