As our Remote HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our robust HR infrastructure. You will be responsible for assisting with the full employee lifecycle, meticulously handling tasks from the initial stages of onboarding new hires to the careful process of offboarding departing team members. A significant part of your day will involve maintaining and updating our HR databases, where accuracy and strict confidentiality are paramount. You will prepare essential HR-related documentation, including offer letters, employment contracts, and updates to company policies, ensuring all paperwork is precise and compliant.

Your organizational skills will be put to excellent use as you coordinate and schedule interviews, critical meetings, and various training sessions that foster employee growth and development. You will also serve as a key point of contact, responding to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general HR matters with professionalism and clarity. Furthermore, your support will extend to payroll processing by collecting and verifying necessary documentation, ensuring our team members are compensated accurately and on time. You will also get involved in the talent acquisition process, conducting initial screening of resumes and applications for diverse roles across the organization. Beyond the administrative, you’ll assist in organizing engaging virtual company events and team-building activities that strengthen our remote culture. We also encourage our HR Assistant to support broader HR projects and initiatives, contributing ideas and effort towards continuous improvement of our HR practices. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Maintain and update HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare HR-related documentation, such as offer letters, employment contracts, and policy updates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general HR matters.
  • Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying necessary documentation.
  • Conduct initial screening of resumes and applications for various roles.
  • Assist in organizing virtual company events and team-building activities.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies in all HR processes.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and applicant tracking software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
