SailPoint is seeking a dedicated Remote Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust integration solutions that connect SailPoint’s cutting-edge identity security platform with our customers’ diverse enterprise applications and infrastructure. As a Remote Integration Specialist, you will be a critical bridge between our platform and our clients’ existing ecosystems. You will collaborate closely with customers, solution architects, and professional services teams to understand intricate business requirements and translate them into effective, scalable integration strategies. Your day-to-day will involve hands-on development, configuration, and troubleshooting of various connectors and APIs, ensuring our identity governance solutions seamlessly provision, de-provision, and manage access across a multitude of target systems. You will be a subject matter expert, guiding clients through technical challenges and providing best practices for secure and efficient integrations. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement complex integrations between SailPoint Identity Security products and various enterprise systems, including HRIS, Active Directory, LDAP, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and business applications.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to gather integration requirements, define scope, create technical design specifications, and ensure successful deployment of integration solutions.
  • Configure, customize, and extend SailPoint connectors and APIs, utilizing scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) and web services (REST, SOAP).
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting of integration issues, identify root causes, and implement effective and timely resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, integration guides, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and best practices to customers, partners, and internal teams on integration strategies and solutions.
  • Stay current with the latest integration technologies, SailPoint product enhancements, and industry trends in identity and access management.
  • Participate in testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure integration solutions meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and deliverables in a remote work setting.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in software development, systems integration, or a related technical role.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, PowerShell) for automation and integration development.
  • Strong understanding of API concepts (REST, SOAP) and data interchange formats (JSON, XML).
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM) concepts and technologies (e.g., SSO, MFA, provisioning, lifecycle management).
  • Familiarity with various enterprise systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, HRIS, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a remote-first, flexible hours environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Direct experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or SailPoint IdentityNow platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and integration platforms (iPaaS solutions).
  • Certifications in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Administrator).
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role or IT consulting.
  • Understanding of security best practices related to data integration and API security.
